Case Study - Central Manchester Restaurant

Our client came to us with a requirement for improvements to a Wireless setup with a central Manchester UK restaurant.

The restaurant operates sit-in dining, and take away and has recently seen an upturn in online delivery orders using Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats. They have been finding the terminals from each of these providers kept dropping offline meaning orders were not received in a timely fashion.

Our client had already conducted a survey an planned to use 2 UniFi Nano-HD’s within the front of house, but had an issue in finding a CloudKey to manage the network.

Clouduni.fi were able to offer hosting for the 2 front of house access points, coupled with another Nano-HD for back of house, a 24 port UniFi POE Gen 2 switch and a USG-Pro router.

Clouduni.fi supported our client in getting the right configuration, including VLANs for the ePOS and delivery devices, a guest network with per device bandwidth restrictions and a staff wifi network.

Our client now has our full support package at £20 per month for upto 100 UniFi devices giving them plenty of room to grow.
