UniFi network application v9.018 testing

We are excited to announce that CloudUni.fi has begun testing UniFi Network Application version 9.0.108, a significant update packed with new features, enhancements, and bug fixes aimed at improving network management and security.

Key Features We’re Testing:

1. Zone-Based Firewall: This feature simplifies policy management by organising networks into zones, enhancing security and control. It requires UniFi Gateway version 4.1.3 or newer.

2. CyberSecure by ProofPoint: A robust cybersecurity tool to protect against threats, integrated seamlessly into the application.

3. Network Application API: Provides detailed insights into devices, sites, and clients with real-time monitoring and multi-site management capabilities.

4. Enhanced Usability:

- Reorganised dashboard widgets for better customisation.

- Improved VLAN editing in the Port Manager.

- Integrated QoS settings for advanced traffic control.

Notable Bug Fixes:

- Resolved NAT rule issues on UXG-Lite.

- Fixed mesh uplink inconsistencies.

- Corrected timezone errors in activity logging for SIEM servers.

Issues Reported:

- WiFi Problems: Some users experienced access points failing after upgrading to version 9.0.108

- Threat Activity Logs: Incorrect source/destination information in log messages post-update.

- IPTV Compatibility: Reports of unsupported IPTV modules causing disruptions.
